Leptodeira annulata, o Falsa Mapanare es una serpiente de pequeño tamaño, usualmente menor de 1 metro, que habita en América Central, América del Sur, Margarita y Trinidad y Tobago. Se alimenta de ranas y pequeño reptiles y, ocasionalmente, de pequeñas aves.
