El herpesvirus porcino 1 (PHV-1) es el virus causante de la enfermedad de Aujeszky (o pseudorrabia). Su nombre se debe al descubridor de la enfermedad que causa: Aladár Aujeszky. Pertenece al género Varicellovirus de la subfamilia Alphaherpesvirinae de la familia Herpesviridae.
